Before You Say I Do (a wedding poem)
Before you say I do
Let me remind you
It’s more than just I love you
A lot of things are new
Are we going to have a baby or not
Buying a car or a house and lot
Adopting a dog or a cat
Who will budget and do the math?
If we are going to have a baby
Will the baby call us mommy and daddy
Just be sure you are ready
When bedtime becomes crazy
If we ever own a house to live
Let’s display all the gifts we received
A beautiful house I want to achieve
We will have it, I truly believe
Now, who gets to manage our money?
The bride says “It should be me!”
And the Groom agreed voluntarily
So they can live together happily.
